AS TYSON BURR
Jared was born and raised in Flin Flon, Manitoba. After a stint working in the mines and competing as a pro mixed martial arts fighter, he decided to pursue acting and moved to Vancouver to attend Vancouver Film School. Shortly after graduating, he went on to book the ABC pilot The Manzinis opposite Kirstie Alley and Rhea Pearlman, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days with Bella Thorne and a recurring role on the hit series Awkward. Recently Jared wrapped filming Hello Destroyer, Gun, Veracruz, Never Steady, Never Still and Hollow in the Land with Diana Agron and a recurring role on AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead. He will next be seen in the feature film Detour opposite Tye Sheridan. Jared Currently resides in Vancouver, BC and once beat Hulk Hogan in an arm wrestling match.

Kurt Max Runte has had the good fortune of being involved with numerous independent films over the past twenty years, including Kevan's short films Bison, Yellowhead, and Destroyer. Some other notable credits include Shoes Off! (Short) (canal & award winner, '99 Cannes Festival) and Red Deer (Feature) Best Canadian First Feature Film, TIFF '00. Guest starring and supporting credits include: Motive, Timeless, Rush, Supernatural, Signed sealed and Delivered, and Fringe, among others.
JOE DION BUFFALO
Joe Dion Buffalo was born in Edmonton, Alberta but was raised in Maskwacis 'Hobbema', AB. He has been a sponsored skateboarder for thirty years and was a born traveler since a very young. Joe has also lived in Ottawa for five years and put ten years of his life in Montreal. He went to residential school and learned at a young age that quality of life is worth living for. Hello Destroyer is Joe's acting debut, following in the footsteps of his first nations grandfather, Joe Buffalo.
AS RON BURR
Born in Paisley, Scotland, Paul McGillion is a multi-award-winning actor with over a hundred film and television credits to his name. While pursuing his acting career, Paul obtained two degrees (BA and BEd) and was a member of the National Champion Brock Badgers varsity wrestling team. Feature film credits include J.J. Abram’s “Star Trek”, Brad Bird’s “Tomorrowland”, and Walter Hill’s “(Re)assignment”. Select tv credits include Fox’s “24”, ABC/Freeform’s “Once Upon A Time”, AMC’s award-winning drama “The Killing”, BRAVO’s romantic comedy “Gilfriend’s Guide to Divorce”, the cult classic “The X-Files”, and the sci-fi hit series “Stargate Atlantis”, where he portrayed the loveable Scottish physician Dr. Carson Beckett for five seasons. Paul resides in Vancouver, Canada with his wife and two children.
AS COACH AARON WELLER
Ian Tracey is an award winning actor, with 40 years in the business. As an actor, Ian is best known for his work in CBC’s crime drama, Da Vinci’s Inquest – a role which earned him a nomination for a Gemini Award. With over one hundred credits in both film and television combined, he’s worked with some of Hollywood’s best, and he himself has earned a reputation as one of the industry’s most sought after actors. His work in Milgaard earned him a Leo Award as well as a Gemini Award, and he won Leo Awards for his work in Continuum, and Rupert’s Land. He’s also a director and member of the DGC, directing episodes of both Da Vinci’s Inquest, and Intelligence.
AS BILL DAVIS
Cotton studied theater at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and has appeared in over 100 productions ranging from short films to television series to miniseries, independent films, big-budget action flicks and, whenever possible, a turn on the stage. Most recently Ben has completed a series regular role on National Geographic’s Mars produced by Ron Howard. He has also had recurring roles in various television series, including The 100 and The Killing. Additionally, Cotton has appeared in numerous highly credited shows, such as Supernatural, iZombie, Continuum and Motive.
AS WENDY DAVIS
Sara Canning graduated from the Vancouver Film School and has performed in theatre, television and film across Canada and the US. Select television credits include Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, Republic of Doyle, Hell on Wheels and Remedy, a series for which she won UBCP and Leo Awards. Recent film work includes acclaimed festival hit Eadweard and CBC’s On the Farm, which focuses on marginalized women in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Sara will next be seen in A Series of Unfortunate Events for Netflix, and 2017’s blockbuster, War for the Planet of the Apes.
AS CODY MACKENZIE
With dual citizenship as both a Canadian and U.S. citizen, Maxwell Haynes started acting professionally at the age of 17. While immersed in developing his craft at the acclaimed Railtown Actors Studio, Max booked his first role on Netflix Series The Killing. Numerous credits followed on Major Network shows, before Maxwell's breakout role...a stunning performance as "Gordon" in the indie film Grand Unified Theory which premiered at the2016 Beijing International Film Festival. Currently, Max is shooting two projects simultaneously...a recurring role on the Netflix Original Series Project Mc2, as well as the Film Incursion, playing opposite Sean Bean and Mary McCormack.
AS KELLEN HARPER
Since Shane’s days of playing hockey were over, he has been fascinated with all aspects of hockey culture in Canada and of small towns as well. When he read for Hello Destroyer, he knew that he had to contribute in some way, so he worked to book the role of Kellen Harper. Since Hello Destroyer, Shane has appeared on DC’s: Legends of Tomorrow and hasn’t stopped working on various films since. When not acting or writing, Shane spends his time advocating for people coming out of the criminal justice system through the John Howard Society of the Lower Mainland.
AS JUSTIN ABRAHAM
RJ was born and raised in Victoria, BC. Growing up in the outdoors, his childhood was spent focused on athletics. In his senior year of high school he focused his attention to boxing, and trained heavily for 3 years. It wasn’t until his 20th birthday that he decided he wanted to become an actor. In 2013 RJ graduated from film school, and has since gone on to work on television series such as The CW’s Supernatural, FOX’s Wayward Pines, and the new Freeform series, Dead of Summer. You can catch RJ in the upcoming feature film Hello Destroyer.
AS BRENDAN SCHULTZ
Inspired by his actress/director mother, Darren Mann started acting in Vancouver at the age of 8. He quickly landed roles on stage and in film however it was another passion that made Darren take a hiatus from acting–Hockey. From playing as a 4 year old, Darren quickly climbed the ranks, becoming a junior level star, before turning professional and being signed to the CHL. Eventually injuries would force him to retire which would lead him to return to acting in CW’s The Tomorrow People and The 100. He will next be seen recurring in the award winning series Wayward Pines for FOX.
AS DEREK EATON
Philip Prajoux is a graduate of Vancouver Film School and a Banff, AB native. He has since continued his training in both Vancouver and London, UK. Best known for his roles in the shorts Saint Pierre, and Prenup Butter, Philip can also be seen in the movie Rise of the Krays. When he is not acting, Philip can be found working at a delightful piano bar in Fort Langley BC, gardening with his wife, or keeping fit at the gym.
