Kevan Funk is an award winning filmmaker, who's work has screened and won awards at various prestigious festivals around the world. His debut short, A Fine Young Man, premiered at TIFF and won the Grand Jury Prix at the Melbourne International Film Festival. Kevan's short films Yellowhead and Bison both premiered at TIFF, the former being awarded a Special Jury Prize, and both were named to Canada's Top Ten in their respective years. Kevan's short Destroyer, created through the TIFF Talent Lab, was runner-up for the RBC Emerging Filmmaker Award. He also recognized as a highly regarded music video director, his video for BRAIDS' Miniskirt was shortlisted for this years Prism Prize award. Kevan was raised in Banff, AB, around his parent's grassroots theater company. He holds a degree in Film, Video and Integrated Media from Emily Carr University of Art & Design in Vancouver, BC.  


Haydn has worked extensively in the Canadian theatre, film and TV industries, working as a business affairs rep, associate and co-producer on numerous productions including TV series, theatrical releases, international and inter-provincial co-productions with Venice, Sundance, Telluride, and multiple TIFF and Whistler screenings over the years; including winners of the esteemed Prix d’Italia (The First Movie) and Top 10 Canadian Films List of 2010 (Daydream Nation), and 2013 (Yellowhead). Haydn directed the feature film Alone, and produced the CBC documentary Dads. In 2011 Haydn co-founded RUSHCUT, a web-based media review service, and is actively involved in the Canadian entertainment industry. In 2016 his production company Tabula Dada Productions looks forward to releasing four movie projects and the CMF funded video game EON ALTAR.


Born in Vancouver, BC, Daniel merged his passions for art and storytelling as Creative Director at Domogeneous, where he honed his skills in advertising. Collectively, his shorts have screened in over 100 festivals including Cannes, TIFF, Tribeca, Clermont-Ferrand, Austin, Encounters, Sitges and Puchon. Three of the films have participated in Telefilm's 'Not Short on Talent' program at Cannes and Clermont-Ferrand with Mark Ratzlaff’s Beauty Mark, Kevan Funk’s Destroyer and Scooter Corkle’s Pour Retourner, which had its world premiere at Tribeca Film Festival. Kevan Funk's concept short drama Destroyer also won an honourable mention in the RBC Emerging Filmmaker Award at TIFF and was curated by, Short Of The Week and Vimeo Staff Picks accumulating over 150k views by audiences worldwide. His debut feature film as a Producer, Bloody Knuckles, had its debut at Fantasia.



Kris Woz & Kara Eide are a casting duo based in Vancouver, BC. They each bring to their partnership extensive experience in casting for film and television productions, and together have worked on many projects including Boundaries (Vera Farmiga, Christopher Plummer) This is Your Death (Giancarlo Esposito, Sarah Wayne Callies, Josh Duhamel and James Franco), Air (starring Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou), Come and Find Me (Aaron Paul and Annabelle Wallis) and Tomato Red (starring Julia Garner and Anna Friel and directed by Oscar nominee Juanita Wilson).


Benjamin Loeb is a duel Canadian/ Norwegian citizen currently working as a cinematographer out of Vancouver, BC. He has a diverse background having spent the first three years of his life in Nairobi, Kenya - as well as two years in Latvia during the fall of the soviet union - before settling down in Oslo, Norway. In 2007 Benjamin moved to Vancouver, BC to begin his studies at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design - and since his graduation in 2011 has had films at festivals all over the world. He is now signed to WME in North America, and with LUX in Europe and the rest of the world. Benjamin is also a member of the FNF (Norwegian Cinematographers Association).


A long time collaborator of Kevan Funk's, and a graduate of Emily Carr University, Robin has spent the last handful of years perfecting her craft in a variety of mediums. She has worked on numerous feature films, music videos and has served as Production Designer on several short films that have gone on to screen domestically as well as internationally. Her shoe size is 7.5 and she loves Vietnamese cuisine over any other Asian food. Additionally, Robin prefers sunshines and is an avid dog enthusiast. 



Mia Fiddis, born and raised in Vancouver B.C has been working as a fashion stylist for the last 7 years and has had work published in Vogue, Harper's bazaar, I-D magazine, and Nylon Magazine. She has recently made the transition between fashion styling and costume designing starting with Hello Destroyer, which is her first feature film. Mia is currently repped by Nobasura.


Teia Dumaresq is a Makeup Artist based out of Vancouver, B.C. After graduating from Blanche MacDonald, Teia started working in a prosthetics lab, were the love are realistic makeup began. From there, she started working in commercials, TV, Film, advertisement and music videos. She has worked with Canada's top musical acts including Mac Demarco, Hedley, BRAIDS, and Bear Mountain. She also frequently collaborates with Vancouver's best and brightest artists including Legs, Wasted Effort, and Our Wild Abandon. Her work has been featured in British Vogue, Vogue, Glamour Magazine, Harper Bazar and Editorial Magazine. 


Ajla Odobasic received her B.F.A. in 2008 at Ryerson University, Toronto. There she began to explore editing and its expressive potential, met fellow classmates Kazik Radwanski and Dan Montgomery (later co-founders MDFF), and began cutting their doc-influenced narrative character-focused shorts. Features she has edited to date include Radwanski’s Tower (2012), How Heavy this Hammer (2015), Igor Drljaca’s The Waiting Room (2015) and, most recently, Kevan Funk’s Hello Destroyer (2016).



Eugenio is a Mexican born Sound Designer based out of Vancouver B.C. He began his career by combining his passion for sound, music & film. He has specialized in both post production and location sound, often combining the two to bring a more controlled and proactive approach to the project. He has been nominated for multiple awards and has had his work screened in several festivals such as TIFF, Tribeca, Fantasia and VIFF. Some of his recent credits include Wizard Mode, Bloody Knuckles, Beautiful Prison and  Hello Destroyer.
